Bienvenidos al blog que acabo de idear! Mi nombre es Chechi Lujan y soy una americana que esta terminando su carrera en Barranquilla (Creeme que hablaremos sobre eso). Por este motivo he decidido escribir sobre las cosas que barranquilleros consideran cotidianos, y el impacto que esto crea en mi.

Van a ver entradas donde se reiran diciendo, esta gringa esta rayada! Van a ver entradas donde me van a mandar de vuelta a mi país. Espero que despues de esos dias, vuelvan al blog asi sea para confirmar si ya me fui, a lo mejor encuentran que ese dia estoy enamorada de Quilla.

Tambien espero aclarar dudas que tengan sobre mi gente, ya sea sobre americanos, colombianos, dominicanos, cubanos (esa es mi ascendencia total) costumbres que no entiendan, pues bien, los tabus sobre Gringolandia.

Asi como yo aclarare dudas, espero que mis lectores tambien me ayuden con incognitas que se me atraviesan de cuando en vez y de vez en cuando. Aqui lo mas importante es acabar con la ignorancia de lado y lado.

Welcome to the blog I just made up! I go by Chechi Lujan and I am an American that is finishing college in Barranquilla, Colombia (Believe me we are going to talk about that one). Because of this I will be writing about customary things for Barranquilleros and their impact on moi!

You will read posts which will make you think I am crazy. Their will be other posts where you will say, go back to your home country! Hopefully you guys come back even if it's to confirm if I left or not. You might even find an apology!

I also hope to clear any doubts you might have about my people, be it Americans, Colombians, Dominicans, or Cubans ( that is my complete heritage) customs or traditions you may not understand, anyhow, any tabu about gringoland!

Just like I will hope to clear any doubts, I also expect to learn about any random thing I might not know about. The priority here is to erase ignorance from both sides of the river.
